HIPAAPal is a HIPAA compliance management software platform designed to help healthcare practices organize, track, and maintain their compliance programs. HIPAAPal is a software tool and does not constitute legal advice, medical advice, or compliance consulting.

3. Important Disclaimer — Not Legal Advice

HIPAAPAL IS A SOFTWARE TOOL, NOT A LAW FIRM OR COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT. THE INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS GENERATED BY HIPAAPAL ARE FOR ORGANIZATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE. USE OF HIPAAPAL DOES NOT GUARANTEE HIPAA COMPLIANCE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION'S COMPLIANCE WITH HIPAA AND ALL APPLICABLE LAWS. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND CONSULTING A QUALIFIED HIPAA ATTORNEY OR COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT FOR LEGAL ADVICE SPECIFIC TO YOUR SITUATION.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for: maintaining the accuracy of information entered into HIPAAPal, ensuring your organization's actual HIPAA compliance, safeguarding your account credentials, training your staff appropriately, and consulting legal counsel for compliance guidance.

5. Subscription and Billing

HIPAAPal offers subscription plans billed monthly. Your subscription begins after your free trial period. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

6. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. One free trial per organization.

7. Data and Privacy

We take the security of your data seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy and our Business Associate Agreement for details on how we handle protected health information.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIPAAPAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
